Thiago - what you have posted looks right to me - example the train is booked 3H minutes from Luton to Luton North Jn, with 3 minutes of allowances, thus the actual section time being booked at 30 seconds, which is probably about right.

I've seen other TT's written with (example) a section time of 2 minutes with allowances of 5 minutes, which actually should apply to the previous section.

On real schedules, the location the allowances are shown next to are the start of the point at which the allowances apply to. So location X with 5 mins pathing, and then location Y 10 mins later with no pathing, means location X to Y takes 5 mins, with 5 mins pathing added in up to location Y. Does that make sense to you?

Not all TT writers follow this correctly, but that's how real schedules show it.
hopefully I have this correct:

if a WTT reads ([4] indicates Eng allowance):

Point X 10/55
[4]
Point Y 11/01

it should read in Simsig as

Point X 10/55 - 4
point Y 11/01

NOT

Point X 10/55
Point Y 11/01 - 4

That's the way I understand it - it's the way real TT's show it.

I totally accept that this is the way it is shown in real timetables but must confess that I opted to do it the other way round in the only timetable I have produced. This is because once a train has passed "Point X" the existence of the allowances disappears from the display, whereas if the allowances are attached, as it were, to "Point Y" then they can still be seen when clicking on the TD and thus be used to help the signaller make appropriate decisions.

6M90 fixed along with the other things. It was due to enter at 03:48, where I got 02:40 from I don't know!

Can't work out the 5Yxx problem someone had, the power types are set to dual electric and Diesel power, that's both the ECS and inbound workings. 5Y97 had a location problem as it was set to Brent Engineers Sdg and not Bedford Engineers Sdg, that would have caused a wrong route problem.

There is now a 5O54 shunt working that runs via the North Loop and sit's out the way until P2 is cleared, and then comes back to couple to 2O66.

Just about to work on the missing stuff for the Victoria Eastern link

It was me that had an issue with the 5Yxx Bedford > Bedford Eng Sdgs reporting wrong traction type. IIRC these trains had diesel power ticked in the 'Power Type' panel but not in the 'Initial Power' panel. I've adjusted that and am currently in the process of running through the entire TT again.

Will try and remember to post here once I know if it has solved the problem.

The initial ones were not checked, you are right. Fixed for the 24 hour version but didn't go through all the 0500 start ones as I thought that might have not been the problem.

Sent off the V1.2 files now, so West Hampstead should be hopefully approved soon, Victoria Eastern needed a patch for the chain to work, but I can't update it as it's not up yet

Not entirely sure what you are trying to say there so apologies if the following is irrelevant / of no use...

I've been running the full 24 hour TT and it is the evening 5Yxx that have been causing problems. Since my last post in this thread and seeing your reply I have had the first couple of 5Yxx services enter Bedford Yard without any issue now that diesel traction is ticked in BOTH power type panels.

Hope this makes sense / is of value to you. Look forward to playing the revised WH and VE timetables.

James,

First, Thanks for another good timetable (enjoyed it ). I've done 3 multiplayer session with it already, and found 1 issue until 21:00 sim time (started 00:00), 5Y96 missing initial power "diesel" tick box, the rest of the timetable is ok until now.

Thanks again and cheers,
Thiago (CTC).

Daniel, I'm working on something like these, as i assume, i am fussy for detailed information, trying to not miss anything.

"I don't know" (for real, i know) about the others TT developers, but, i respect how TT-Devs code on their TT's, as everybody thinks in a different way, I'll try to get the best of my "way" of code.

Cheers,
Thiago.
A minor note- it looks like you've entered every location displayed in Real Time Trains. Bear in mind that RTT extrapolates the timings at locations the train isn't timed at from the locations that it is timed at.

For example:

1F21, Open Train Times
1F21, Real Time Trains.

OTT displays only the locations the train is timed at in reality, RTT estimates times at all other locations along the route. So while RTT is more detailed, it isn't accurate.

RTT does do the same thing however it depends when you are looking for, future timings will give booked timings, current or past ones will be detailed, an example of 1F02 for this coming Friday:

http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/C70414/2014/08/29/advanced

That has the timetabled locations only, where as last Friday has all the locations:

There are a few rules in this timetable which state that B will not run if A runs. However B can occasionally enter first, then A will run as well (I've just had that happen). I have changed the rule (on my copy) to read that A and B are mutually exclusive.
Many hours of enjoyment with this timetable :woohoo:

Is diesel ticked as initial power type?
