I'm very much enjoying the Olympic West Hampstead timetable. One small problem encountered. There are some trains which appear at the Bedford Engineers Sidings etc, go to the Goods Loop and thence to the station. They seem to enter fine, even though these are electric trains off the wires. However, when train 5Y83 tries to leave the station to get back to the Engineers siding it calls in wrong traction. Log in to reply |

In years gone by the Bedford St. Johns Goods Loop & yard wasn't wired. However over the past year or two that & the new sidings which can hold 12 car EMUs, referred to as 'Jowett Sidings' after a Bedford driver Rodney Jowett who was a driver when I was a secondman there have been electrified & asa result the 'traction unsuitable' message shouldn't be happening.
