Does any one have an idea on how you can have a train do a run round move at Dalston? I thought I had cracked it by having a train arrive , reverse in to the sidings then appear again, reverse in to the down platform [ up is towards Wiston], but instead of stopping to uncouple the loco, which I had wrote the train departs? The loco move was to do a run round move- depart Dalston down platform, reverse at Dalston south , cross over at Dalston north and them reverse on to the train and depart. If it can be done, what is the platform lengh at Dalston? Ps having the train do the run round as the oil sidings at Dalston do not have a rr line[ or so the nr sectional appendix says]! will be fixed in the new version of Carlisle IIRC, along with an updated 1979 TT too (not yet available)
