Sorry if this is a repeat but when I tried to post earlier I was informed my message was a duplicate and was being ignored. However I cannot find my message. I installed the system files and one simulation (Edinburgh) to get myself started. That in itself was after a battle with my antivirus software. Now I can start the simulation from the start menu but, on loading, I get a splash screen with the message 'No licence or simulation expired. Licence manager is blank, presumably because the simulation is installed as an exe file. Have I screwed up the installation or can I get a licence file from somewhere? Log in to reply |

Edinburgh is a Payware simulation- you need to by a license from the Shop to use it. If you're new to SimSig, I'd recommend trying another simulation first- Edinburgh is one of the largest simulations, and it's payware. Royston, Exeter, Oxted, Lime Street and Wembley Suburban are good for starting on, and are free. As Steamer mentioned, if this is your first sim, it probably is a good idea to start with something slightly smaller.
