There is currently no train approaching warning on Eastfield LC, Just the flashing white light. it would be handy (for solo play) to have a message appear in the message box, and a "train approaching eastfield LC" when the white light begins to flash to prompt a response.

Just a thought as I keep getting distracting by the other many trains on the panel.

A flashing light is better than what we get in the box!

In real life, a relatively small CCTV monitor turns on, with no further alarm or alert. As Panel 4 is spread out fairly wide, it can be very easy to miss this.

I did show/new view, resized/scrolled the window so only the flashing blob was visible in a tiny window, selected "stay on top" and placed in a prominent position at the top of the screen. This way the flashing blob is always visible regardless of the scrolly current view.

Ran into a snag today at Eastfield "crossing blocked by road vehicle".

Tried to raise and lower barriers but it wouldn't let me. After a bit I realised the ARS was attempting to set route / call-on (forgive my hopeless terminology knowledge) so I needed to cancel the ARS sub-area and cancel the route before the barriers would raise. I guess I could have made the trains non-ARS to achieve the same result.

Here's my rig showing the Eastfield mini-view at the top and my problems with the barriers!

You don't have ARS either, but it's featured in the Sim, for the purpose of making single player life easier, without which I wouldn't have bought it.

You need to cancel the routes from the signals either side of the crossing (right click) before the barriers will raise. cancelling the route should automatically cancel the ARS subarea and ARS routing for the train concerned.
