The F2 train list won't save changes to the refresh interval. It's default setting is 5s, which I found is slower than I like - and if I change it, it works as expected. But when I close it and reopen it, it's back to 5s. Dave Log in to reply |

I can't remember who it was I was talking to on WH multip recently about this, but I would absolutely advocate for what Dave is suggesting. I believe the reason behind it IIRC is to do with burdening the server, or something to that nature. While being able to access F2 as a client is welcomed, I think it would be fantastic if we could have the option of changing the default refresh interval.

Agreed; I generally play single-player on a good computer and would much rather have it at 1 second all the time—it’s a small nit, I certainly don’t mind changing the refresh interval when I need to see high-frequency data, but in balance, I would prefer that it either save the previous value or default to a faster speed.

I agree, 5s is too slow. I reported another minor problem with the F2 Train List here. My solution to them is to set the refresh rate and window dimensions according to how you like them, and when not using the Train List, drag the window down so only the top of it is visible. Drag it up again when you need to see it, rather than press F2 again, or click the Restore window icon (looks like 2 overlapping squares) at its top RH corner, till these problems are fixed.
