How nice it would be to have Royston added to the King's Cross sim. See picture. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Last edited: 14/03/2014 at 05:12 by Roadrunner Log in to reply |

The picture turned out rather small, but I hope you will understand the idea.

See picture.A fantastic drawing, however the practicalities of extending the sim (and de-extending Cambridge and Peterborough, and editing all the timetables and so on and so forth) means it just isn't going to happen. Chaining Kings Cross and Royston together would give the same effect. Log in to reply |

Because of the way Cambridge is constructed it may be easier than you might think. PBO is largely plain-line so quite a simple exercise. Never say "never" (and no that's not a hint). Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |

Might even be possible to rebuild CAM and PBO with pre/post scrolly eras to chain to KX pre/post scrolly, although the WTT revisions would still be needed. But as Peter said, nothing is implied. An easier approach might be to create a 'Baldock' panel to chain along with Royston to create the full KX area. I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look too good either. Log in to reply |

The old Biggleswade was the first place I ever pulled a signal lever (aged about 10). I know there were good reasons for it but it always felt against nature when Simsig gave it to Peterboro' rather than The Cross. Log in to reply |
