The auto-raise at Alrewas crossing doesn't seem to work for up trains, down trains are OK though.

if TORR is off you got to remove the route over the lc you self so it can go up
I am dyslexic so please consider this when reading my posts

Surely not how it's meant to operate though - rather defeats the object of the auto-raise!

Isn't it a bit dangerous to raise the gates if a route's still set across them! If the train doesn't cancel it the signaller must.

Yes, there have been incidents recently on the network related to the interlocking failing on barriers, so better to be safe than sorry. As a tip: if you don't have TORR enabled, distinguish the auto button and take full control of the crossing, it's much safer

Crossings can still auto raise even if the route is not fitted with TORR.

Watery Road Crossing at Croes Newydd North Fork, and Paignton North Level Crossing are both examples of this.

"Passengers for New Lane, should be seated in the rear coach of the train " - Opinions are my own and not those of my employer

No problem whatsoever with the barriers auto-raising after the passage of a train but before the route is released.

Could you provide an example of such an incident? Never heard of one myself.
