8X02 dep Totnes P2 en route to Totnes URS. However, it's stuck as shown. Train List reports "Up Points set against train". What points? Crazy. Help appreciated. I believe it's a known issue with the sim, "Passengers for New Lane, should be seated in the rear coach of the train " - Opinions are my own and not those of my employer Last edited: 08/05/2014 at 12:56 by headshot119 Log in to reply The following user said thank you: maxand |

Thanks headshot. Can you suggest an immediate remedy (maybe other than remove train)? Just out of sight on the Up Main is 1S27, breathing down 8X02's neck.

Reverse him into Totnes platform after the overlap on 3 signal drops away, then send him to Buckfastleigh instead.

Just out of sight on the Up Main is 1S27, breathing down 8X02's neck.Or, if you don't want to lose him from the sim, stick him in the Totnes loco siding. I've done that, via a quick timetable edit, for all the occasions where the URS is called for. Pending the release of a fixed version, that seems to retain the functionality intended by the timetable writer. Mike Log in to reply The following user said thank you: maxand |

I tried sending the train to Buckfastleigh (which needs an advance phone call), only to be told that it could not be accepted as it wasn't on their schedule. So I tried Totnes loco siding, and that worked. Log in to reply |

No it didn't work, unfortunately. 8X02 driver kept asking to reverse out of the siding and wouldn't be put off. Only cure was to edit TT to change termination from Totnes URS to Buckfastleigh, obtain permission and then send it there.

" said:The Summer Weekend timetable highlights the same problem. 0Z01 is safely berthed in the Totnes loco sidings when along comes 6B08 around 01:16 and wants access to the URS. The message about points being set against the train comes up but unfortunately it cannot be put into the loco sidings as 0Z01 needs to be out in a couple of hours time. Unlike 6B08 which does not reappear until later the following day. Deleting the train 6B08 would seem the only option here or block in 0Z01 Geoff Last edited: 13/05/2014 at 14:36 by northroad Log in to reply The following user said thank you: maxand |
