I have northbound trains coming to a stand at signal 380 which is an automatic. It does not clear. Can anyone explain this, please? Thanks Log in to reply |

Very curious - it doesn't seem to be user error, nor do there seem to be any failures that would affect it. Is there a possibility that there's a hidden button somewhere which replaces 380 to danger? I recall similar issues on some sim (Carlisle?) where ground frame releases could be incorrectly released in eras where they were hidden - however, there's no relevant ground frames in this case. (For reference, 380 is on the Up Holborn Slow just past Southwark Bridge Jn) Log in to reply |

Without looking I would guess this was a saved game from the first version of the sim where the signal was controlled, and it's being continued on the fixed version. SimSig has improved significantly since the Loader was able to load older versions of saved data but this kind of thing is harder to tolerate. If this is indeed the case then there should have been a warning upon load (the attachment above may have been from the updated version in which case no warning).

Clicking on the "about" drop down, I get: Loader version 4.0.31 and Sim Data version 1.02 Last edited: 08/06/2014 at 07:23 by John 23 Reason: Typo Log in to reply |

Presumably you mean Sim Data is 1.2, not 1.02? However, the problem with versions would only apply if the game were started in an earlier version, and then continued in a later one. Last edited: 08/06/2014 at 08:26 by Danny252 Log in to reply |
