Hi everyone I'm a quite old SimSig user (I think my first attempt was with Bristol a few years ago) but I'm a very new at multiplayer sessions. I'm just wondering as you guys are working (and maybe a few of you are actual signallers in real life). When you are in charge of a box, are you working with a timetable simplifier? And if you are (for example in King Cross) what simplifier are you using as I didn't find simplifier for an entire box (I mean all entries and exit in the box). So far, I'm only right clicking on train approaching my box, I think it's not a Professional way of doing. Thanks Log in to reply |

Thanks Barry but I know that, meanwhile In KX you don't have the choice of the whole box as you can have in other simulations. But maybe right clicking on an approaching train is the good way of doing.

What I meant was 'How Professional signallers working'? I think they work with a printed timetable. Don't they?

Usually a mixture of printed simplifiers, TRUST line-ups (similar to Simsig's simplifiers, but with train running info, last reported location/time, current delay and more) and CCF or other systems (much the same information as TRUST, but with train positions also shown on a diagram) - so no single source covering the whole area, but rather a need to refer to various simplifiers, view different TRUST line-ups and so on for each location.
