In further testing of this issue, I tested running 0L51 onto 6L51 (times were edited to allow 0L51 to enter the sim immediately after 6l49 exited the sim for time saving purpose).
0L51 left the Ferrous Fragmenters and I interposed his ID into the Berth at 1185 (Shunt signal protecting the points for the entry to the Ferrous). Having set a route from 1185 to 621 (Signal on the Down end of U&D SW REV) the ID stepped up correctly

I then selected a route from 621 to the white triangle attached to 623, which allowed 0L51 to call-on to 6L51. However 0L51 passed 621, its ID stepped from 621 Berth to the berth associated with 626 rather than the berth which 6L51 was interposed in (signal 744)

I have repeated this on several times while producing this report. Of note also is when i first saw this, i didn't have 6L51 interposed and the IDt still stepped to the wrong berth.

A save game just prior to the ID Stepping up is attached. NB you may want to mute your speakers as i took this from the 0640 snapshot and continued it just focusing of 6L49/6L51/0L51 in regards to the Willesden South West Sidings bug.

Nathan,

When 6L49 enters from Acton, the train needs to be routed into the "SW THRU SDG" & onto the "U&D SW REV", that is 628-748-738. The train will then divide with the front portion of the train detaching for Ferrous Fragmentation & leaving behind the wagons for 6L51 (0L51 will come out of F.F. to attach to them accordingly).

When sending a train into Willesden F.F. you need to route 738-622-headshunt & the train will stop & go in as one would hope. When 0L51 appears the loco should then be routed onto the wagons in the "SW THRU SDG" by setting a route from 621 to the white triangle & boom, Bob's your uncle, the loco & wagons form the next portion. 6L51 is to then be routed as per 6L49 to access W.F.F.

When in doubt - Contingency plan 2A. Someone didn't buy the milk - 2A. Someone sneezed at Swansea - 2A. A driver complains the cab is too cold - 2A. Unable to operate a HEx service 4 vice 8 - 2A. Points failure at Ipswich - 2A. Landslip at Pitlochry - 2A

Cheers Paul
I worked that out in the other thread. This was a discovery while testing the down siding line as i had originally put it on the up siding, finding i couldn't then call onto the wagons.

I've noted the TD incorrectly stepping to our issues board. Thanks.
