I request slot for 0A46 to enter sdgs at about 0526. Slot is granted , route set into sdgs, and 0A46 moves forward from U&D Goods no 2 and sits at 825 with the slot light into the sgs lit and doesn't move. "Stopped at 825". Acoa'd and tried again... still sits there. Any ideas ... tis blocking a few services now. Log in to reply |

Try this: Request the slot, it'll give it to you. Set the route from 825 to the exit arrow, then from the sidings, As the TD steps into the track circuit for 825 hit the 825 roundel above in the "Transfer Description to Wembley SCC" box. Log in to reply |

Is it a requirement to sent the ID for the loco sidings? for the north and south entrances you send the id for the slot, whereas for the loco sidings don't need it to request the slot

OK ... you need to use the efoc transfers to get a loco into the sidings. fine.... so what is the slot button for then just to the left of 788 ?

You can either transfer the headcode OR use the slot button, both options will give you a slot into the loco sidings

Just to add to this, I have found that the slot for the Wembley Loco Sidings is given much more quickly if you use the 825/927 button method, as opposed to using the slot button next to the exit arrow.

Although if you want to set a route from the U&D Goods towards the Loco Sidings, 781/783 won't clear unless a route has been set forward from 825. In that case you have no choice but to use the separate slot button (unless of course you want to fiddle around with the train descriptions).
