Currently playing the 2009 TT v4.1.0 that is bundled with Wembley Mainline v1.1 on loader v4.1.2 and am up to 16.15 sim time when I've noticed an issue with 0M18... 0M81 is a shunt from Wembley EFOC North arr to Wembley LHS and return. I signalled him into Wembley LHS M which already had a LL 0M00 berthed there. 0M81 then overhangs shunt signal 1256 and calls for authorisation to proceed. Requested the slot duly gave athorisation to proceed. 0M81 duly returns to Wembley EFOC but the slot is never released !! Following freights enter Wembley EFOC North Arrival OK and slot still never releases !! Not a complaint - just thought the developer might like to know. My fault for having sent 0M81 into a siding where there was no room for it !! Log in to reply |

I've managed to do that too, but with a different loco earlier in the day. I cleared the slot some time later by noticing that a 6xxx service had entered Watford Up Slow for the EFOC, and just routed it straight in without asking for a slot. The slot then cleared. I notice that you say successive freights enter without clearing the slot. Did you ask for slots for these trains? Log in to reply |

We're both idiots, of course, because the two loco sidings are only 32m long each, as stated in the manual: Wembley North LHS Siding L & M = 32m Neck = 132m Log in to reply |

You've got 6A42 due to enter at 16:41. Try routing it straight in past the slot without asking for one. It may clear it.

The conditions for the slot to release are that a route using the slot is either cancelled or released by a train. If one of the north loco sidings is free set and the cancel the route from there

Thanks for the replies guys. Yes, I think I was requesting the slot before sending the later freights in. And yes I should have read the manual more carefully then I wouldn't have tried sending 0M81 into an already occupied siding !!
