OK I hold my hands up and it's my fault for not routing 4M73 correctly however it is now stopped on the down slow directly opposite the up and down goods where it should be for a scheduled 49 minute layover. That's going to cause a bit of a problem for me.
No messages about wrong route came up to warn me, unlike other places on the sim.
Is this a normal thing to happen or is it something other than what I expected.

Yup, there appears to be a bit of wrong route code missing. I've raised it with Geoff.

but what if a train booked into the UDG lines was running very late, and it would prove preferable to run it main line? at the present time Simsig is unable make the train clever enough not to stop, but I would still run it main line and take the short compulsory stop on the main line. I appreciate some trains require new traction or relief, but I would say a train doesn't need to question wrong route for this if he is solely booked in for recessing/pathing purposes.
