Do I have to use the track circuit override button for this? I note it's not documented in the manual like they usually are.

the TCO's need to be used for any call on into Euston. rule of thumb: if theres a TCO, it will need to be used.

Not quite: From my experience they only need to be used if both platform track circuits are occupied. If only one track circuit is occupied, call-on usually works automatically.
