Hi all, I've just started using the sim and found that whenever a train leaves St Pancras International High Level as soon as it leaves the platforms the next TD berth shows **** instead of the correct headcode. I then have to manually eneter the headcode again for every train that leaves the station. I always change the headcode of incoming trains once they arrive at St Pancras so they are showing the correct outgoing headcode but it still reverts back to **** in the first berth out of the station. Is this how it should be? Cheers Dave. Last edited: 20/11/2014 at 06:56 by WaveyDavey Log in to reply |

You need to put the new headcode into platform signal berth rather than the one at the buffers - then when the train leaves it will leave with its headcode. If you overwrite the incoming headcode with the new one as it arrives it will do what you have observed. Hope this helps, Nick Log in to reply The following user said thank you: WaveyDavey |

Thanks for the quick reply... How do i do that though? I can only seem to enter a headcode where one already exists.... i.e. at the buffer end?

I can only seem to enter a headcode where one already exists.... i.e. at the buffer end?Press the 'I' key, enter a headcode and click the signal to interpose. Alternatively (and with 'right-click cancels route' turned off), right click the signal and select 'TD Interpose' to interpose there.
