I know that this sim would be difficult due to being under liverpool street iecc, but would it be possible pre-2001 when the line was under control of many box's like bishops stortford, brimsdown, Cheshunt, Broxbourne and the like? would be interesting to see this done, as this is a VERY busy line. And the sadists among the developers can code the Westronic that worked (sometimes) Clapton Junction from Hackney Downs, complete with its habit of 'flashing' (brief total failures) when a down Chingford ECS ran through the neutral section under full power Log in to reply The following user said thank you: Prof Jolly |

Apart from someone I know who has contacts within Network Rail, if I can contact some of the people I worked with in Liverpool Street control during the early 1990s might be able to come up eityh something. I'll trawl through my collection of signalling notices to see if I have any relevant schematics. Log in to reply |

Trains from the harbour do not enter as timetabled. When I look into it says no path between Ardrossan Town and Ardrossan South beach.

Cambridge is part of West Anglia route. Unless you want a bit of London.
Class 150/2 approaching towards Welshpool. Wrong train you got, only 158's are fitted with ERTMS. Log in to reply |

Attleborough post resignalling. That could, in turn, give rise to a chain (East Anglia - London Kings Cross) if Norwich - Great Yarmouth & Lowestoft were ever done as a one-player in the future. Just a thought. Dave EDIT: Having said that there are not many signals on the Ely - Norwich route. Last edited: 15/08/2015 at 12:49 by DaveHarries Log in to reply |

Before the resignalling, there were nine mechanical boxes, and all but two supervising Level Crossings.Cambridge is part of West Anglia route. Unless you want a bit of London. The Norwich end of the line would likely form part of a Colchester simulation (Conflict of Interest permitting), then as you say a Norwich (exclusive)- Sherringham, Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft simulation. Incidentally, my holiday this year was (partly) based around the Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft lines. In terms of signalling, it's fantastic- plenty of boxes and plenty of semaphores. Be sure to visit before they go. "Don't stress/ relax/ let life roll off your backs./ Except for death and paying taxes/ everything in life.../ is only for now." (Avenue Q) Log in to reply |
