Non described train sent to fringe box (from Crystal Palace) 04/01/2015 at 16:27 #67379

Basically some of the 2Fxx trains at Crystal Palace ending up losing their headcodes as they depart towards London Bridge. I noticed this a couple of times when I was writing and testing an initial version of a 2012 TT but was unable to reproduce it every time. I've just been doing some testing on an updated version of the TT and have found this to occur again. (sim & loader up to date, 2010s mode)

I haven't as yet got any new saves of the behaviour (will post when I do so) but have some from the original TT I was testing and loader 4.028 which I thought may still be useful before I get some new ones as I know Geoff is updating the Victoria sims atm. The three saves are prior to it occurring, while the train is waiting for TRTS and during the non described event.

Hope these are of use

Gareth

Have managed to replicate this again and get saves of it on the new loader.

Loader version 4.3, Victoria central 1.3 2010s mode. ARS on

So that ARS doesn't overset the route for 2Fxx early into Platform 6 at Crystal Palace and blocking the exit of 9Bxx from platform 5 I collared signal 735. As soon as the train from platform 5 has departed, I remove the collar and 2Fxx enters platform 6 where it is timetabled to stop for about 5 minutes.

Upon its departure when the headcode steps up it is replaced with *X** and message "non described train sent to fringe signalbox"

I have a save when the 2Fxx train is waiting in the platform and one during the event.

Hope this helps unravel things

Gareth
