I've recently updated the Loader to ensure all my Sims are fully up to date and as I'm using Wimbledon at the moment, my hair is turning grey upon account I keep getting error messages for no reason at all. I never used to get error messages but now when I load my current save I'm using, I can pretty much promise I get a error message - what's caused this to be so unstable? No disrespect to the team at SimSig but why is this happening? I have included two screenshots below of the errors I get, if anyone would care to explain in layman terms what is going on I would appreciate it. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. If your save is older than 1st January 2015, then the save may be conflicting with the latest core code in Simsig Loader. Barry Barry, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Log in to reply |

I do know that if you make either of the named trains non-ARS the bug won't trigger. The second one could have a number of causes. Are you using WINE? If so, that's known to be a bit flaky when handling SimSig. Otherwise it could represent a corrupt file somewhere; reinstalling the system files (not the sims) *might* help. Log in to reply |

That sort of incompatibility is more likely to produce problems like signals that won't clear, points locking in the wrong state, or trains vanishing from the save. I use Windows 7 and the save was only 2 days old, it's annoying because I've only got half way though the day.

I have had a problem this evening in that the Wimbledon sim using a saved session just locked up after a couple of train movements. Screen went all foggy first with the main page and then on trying to use the two small headers they went all foggy also. The saved game was using full ARS apart from Waterloo station area which I was regulating myself. I am using Windows 8 and had been playing Victoria South Eastern earlier in the day with no problems.
