In Monday's (02/02/15) Times there is a beautiful picture of Duchess of Sutherland running under the wires against a background of snow covered fells. At a guess the shot is taken just north of Tebay with the train running in the Down direction. The Times is a subscription website so I haven't posted a link to the online version. The caption reads: "Gathering steam. The Duchess of Sutherland climbs the snow covered Shap summit on the Settle - Carlisle line as she hauls the Cumbria Winter Mountain Express". “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Log in to reply The following user said thank you: northroad |

Monday's Yorkshire Post had a picture on the front of it crossing Ribblehead Viaduct with snow covered fells in the background. No problems identifying that as being S&C!
