Hi, Been looking at the OpenTrainTimes.com site and it includes times for Marylebone - Oxford via. Bicester services effective from start of service on Monday 07th September 2015. http://www.opentraintimes.com/location/OXFPWAY/2015-09-07/06:00?empty_passenger=on&non_passenger=on&passenger=on&show_stp=on&show_var=on&show_wtt=on&utf8=%E2%9C%93 However there is a station on the SimSig (Marylebone) (2015 extended) layout referred to as Water Eton Parkway. According to Wikipedia it seems that Water Eton Parkway will now be known as Oxford Parkway. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oxford_Parkway_railway_station Could I therefore suggest an update taking account of the change of name for the station? Also it is noticeable that there are no trains shown from Oxford's mainline station through to Marylebone via. Bicester but I guess there will be some. Trains into Oxford station itself do not start until May 2016. Only as far as Ocford Parkway until then.

The sim was based on a proposal at the time and I've since been sent updated plans - which change quite a bit (including 5-character TC IDs which is rather excessive - even Watford to Colwich (4 track main line) manages with 4-character IDs with plenty to spare). Oxford station for Chiltern was - last time I saw it - a separate timing point from Oxford (XC/GW), even though physically the same location. Thanks for the reply Geoff. See what happens then. If it happens then it could be a minor update or something more substantial. Who knows..... Dave Log in to reply |
