How can I get an ECS movement into the holding sidings without incurring a penalty for sending a passenger train on to a goods line? I obtained a slot on F466 and then set the route from 254 to 466 then in to the CHS. The manual mentions using goods loops for freight and ECS, but makes no mention of the holding siding. There should not be a penalty for signalling an ECS onto a goods Line. If a train goes not convey passengers then it is not a passenger train, simples! There is a problem in that Simsig would treat all Class 1,2,s and 9,s as passenger trains although not all of them are passenger trains.
