Hello All, I'm not really new to Simsig, but I am new to the forum. I have a question, is there a way of designing a new track layout yourself for Simsig. The reason is I am really wanting to design the Whitby branch, as it is local to me I have a good knowledge of the signalling on the branch which is basically absolute block, but has the added interest of the NYMR and two platforms at Whitby. All controlled by Nunthorpe 'box. James Log in to reply |

To reply simply, no. See: http://www.SimSig.co.uk/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=usertrack:faq:can_i_make_my_own_SimSig More indpethly, a lot of information not currently available to the masses of the world goes into making the sims, including speed limits, track circuit/section lenghts, interlocking information, etc. Some of which doesn't exist for the Esk Valley as there aren't that many track circuits, if any! As for the Whitby Branch being "basically absolute block" that is true of any railway in the UK. The Whitby Branch is No Signaller Key Token, and the NYMR is a whole other issue.
