Is it feasible for the Simplifier to be enhanced to emulate the Line Up Screen on Trust? While any delays to the Entry time are shown on the current version of the Simplifier I don't believe these reflect any early/late running once the train is in the simulation. I've also noticed that Late Running trains drop off the Simplifier at their Booked Time. On Trust they will stay on display until they pass the timing point selected. So interested in whether a Trust style facility can be added or the Simplifier morphed into one. I do appreciate the Simplifier is what it says on the tin just now - although you could argue that Simplifiers in the box will not have a Delay column. Interested in views of developers and users. EDIT TO ADD: I agree though, it would be useful if trains which hadn't passed remained on the list- although there would have to be a way of checking that the train is running/will run, and is not an 'appears 50% of the time' train that hasn't run. Thanks - I stand corrected regarding live update of the late running column. While I get you can adjust the time on the simplifier - personally I'd still like it if trains only dropped off after passing the timing point. Log in to reply |

I'd also find it helpful if the last reported timing point (location and time) was shown along with the delay - I find that to be one of the most useful features of a TRUST lineup when making regulating decisions!

So we are going to have to simulate the whole country (and perhaps the Chunnel and a goodly chunk of the Lille region as well). (Sorry, my megalomania at it again ) Log in to reply |

Slowly, but steadily.
