Afternoon all,

I am trying to incorporate this one into a timetable I am building for SwinDid.....

5L00 13:17 Oxford Up CS - Oxford Down CS, via. Foxhall Jcn & Didcot Parkway
http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/V07510/2015/08/03/advanced

..... but am not having much luck as it won't seem to take, whichever line / path codes I use. The train is up on RTT but jnot on OTT. Any advice as to how to make this working acceptable to SimSig?

Got work now but will try it later. Thinking about it I am surprised that they can't do the whole movement within the area of Oxford station but it is on RTT as an STP working.

It's a Q path for drivers to refresh the West Curve if required, normally operated by the 2 car inter-peak stabler. If not required the 2 car stays on Rewley Road to work stuff in the peak

It is given as a 165/166 in the pathing but I thought those were not two-unit trains?

165118-137 inclusive are 2 car units

165118-137 are 2 car, the remaining 165/1s and 166s are 3 car.

Being an ex OX driver I can tell you that Oxford men must have route knowledge of Didcot West Curve in case the Chester lines are blocked due to engineering work. So yes probably a route refresher move although when I was still driving it was quite common to be routed via Foxhall Junction on a Saturday or Sunday night.

It still is - as I said it's just there for if its needed. Speaking to to TSC this evening he said he'd not had a request for it to run for quite a while...

Thanks for your help on this guys. Here's something else I never suss though. A look at the WTT on Network Rail's website says that some workings are Q paths and some are Y. What is the difference between the two?

Thanks also to James for the screendump relating to the schedule of 5L00 which validated OK.

Q Runs when required

Y Runs to and from terminals as dictated by traffic demand.
