Hello, new member just registered, havent really had a good look at the board yet dont even know if Im in the right place, I was wondering if anyone on here knows where I can find a list of terms used on the railways, first 1 Ive always wondered about is TPAT, any information greatly apprieciated, thanks

Hi and welcome. We have a glossary here where you can find a number of acronyms and terms used, though it leans towards signalling specifically rather than railways in general. But we're a friendly lot so ask away! TPAT might be "take possession around train" according to a quick Google, but I've never heard of that before.
