Hello everyone, Have stripped out older versions of SimSig and paid for a licence for a simulation. So far so good, but despite downloading the current system files a couple of times and restarting I cannot get the file to open. Is there perhaps an issue with the file as hosted? I note other downloads are working fine including the sim purchased. Clearly it would be good to get this resolved so I can install the programme and enjoy the sim as paid for. Many thanks in advance! EAD Log in to reply |

Are you following the installation guide? When you click the system files, does the installer open, and can you run that successfully? The system files themselves don't 'run' as such. Simulations are either downloaded as independent .exes or are launched using the SimSig Loader, a shortcut for which should be created in Start> All Programs> SimSig. Thanks Steamer. Managed to solve it after someone else had the same issue on the shout box. All was fine, but default when downloaded was locked so just needed to unlock the exe file so that windows would open it. Bit of a palm on forehead moment! EAD Log in to reply |
