Should F252 (Staines) have an 'A' (Auto) Button? 23/09/2015 at 16:57 #76174 | |

Interested to know if the simulation matches the actual panel or whether this is an omission. It seems odd that all other Main Line routes at Staines have this facility - including F249 in the opposite direction. Log in to reply |

Question answered - but it is an odd one - I wonder why there isn't one in real life.

Doesn't appear to have a button on the panel. The signallers find it annoying aswell. They just have to re-stroke it each time! According to the Box Manager at Feltham, It also there to protect a level crossing that is used frequently and that it used to be used frequently to turn back trains to head back in the down direction again after terminating at Staines.
