Since James's mockup software is gone due to the website, is there a other software? Perhaps a tutorial how to make your mockups realistic. Mine is a Woodbridge Panel which i really want to exist in the Lowestoft sim, from Lowestoft to Ipswich. Here it is:
Class 150/2 approaching towards Welshpool. Wrong train you got, only 158's are fitted with ERTMS.

Which software was this?

'Roadrunner' has produced a programme that lets you make mock-ups, details and a few layouts people have built are here. I think you need to send him a PM (Private Message) to get a copy of it. Alternatively, the SimSig font files (which contains all the symbols used in SimSig simulations) can be accessed from most word processors.

In terms of making it realistic, just take a look at the various released simulations and do your best to imitate their style.

I think it was James (Manadude) who wrote the "original" "Unofficial Simsig Layout Designer".

That's now been superseded by Roadrunners new one.

A copy of the Track & Signals Editor (TSE) program that allows you to draw layouts in the SimSig style will be winging its way to NewBuildmini soon!

The original idea and USLD progam was by James Hyde (Manadude on the SimSig forum), so a big thanks to him.

Two things to note. The layouts only use two colours so far (black & grey). The program is only a test version. If you bear those two points in mind, I can send you a copy if you are interested. Send a PM to me (Roadrunner) with your email address.

Unfortunately, I do not have Windows 10 and some users have reported problems with the display buttons when using the TSE program. If you are a technically knowledgeable person, who has Windows 10 and some spare time, and who could help me tackle this problem, your help would be appreciated! Contact me by PM if you can help.

Thanks to Steamer and Headshot for their replies above.

Please bear in mind that these mock-ups won't do anything towards getting a sim developed.

In other words, do them for your own enjoyment but don't expect the devs to be interested in them.
