I have downloaded Oxted3_0.exe, but nothing happens when I click the "RUN" button. Can anyone help. The size of the download matches that quoted on the download page

I assume you've been able to download and run other Loader simulations?

When you try and run the installer, check that Windows or your Anti Virus software isn't trying to stop you or something like that- Norton AV has been known to cause problems with SimSig.

Just to make sure we are all talking about the same thing, do you mean that Oxted3.0.exe will not install the Oxted simulation on your system? Oxted is a .sim simulation which runs from the Loader once it is installed and not from a standalone .exe. If you have tried to run the .exe, have you looked in your SimSig folder (normally in Public folder somewhere) to see if Oxted.sim is there, and that there are Oxted sub-folders in the SImulations and Timetables folders. When you run the loader, does Oxted show in the list of installed sims?

Sorry if this is all stuff you have already done.

I've got Loader version 4.5.4. Oxted has not shown up in the list of sims available in there. Following on from a post above I downloaded the Simsig System Installer uploaded by GeoffM on 2 Oct 2015 and that .exe file does not run either. Howewer a previously downloaded Salisbury does run! I have Avast antivirus and I've never had a problem before.

That is probably the problem. Try disabling Avast for a short period.

Back in 2014 there was a problem with Avast not letting SimSig .exe files run, even for people that had been using it for some time without previous problems. It is discussed and there is a possible "fix" in this topic.
