It's ok fixed problem. Must have been an interruption during the download and only some of the files were loaded. Did a search for the files and found and deleted them. Then used Loader to start again. Thanks to everyone who gave advice.

At around 2.20 am, the train 4E84 is directed to go to Hunslet FHH. However, where exactly is the required destination for this train once it passes the ground frame ? The manual does not make it very clear. Is it assumed that all trains arriving at this point go to Middleton Railway ?

I don't think the guys at the Middleton would be too happy if you sent them a freight liner train!

Looking at Quail I have a feeling it's supposed to go in there then run round and come back via reception 1 into Leeds freightliner terminal.

"Passengers for New Lane, should be seated in the rear coach of the train " - Opinions are my own and not those of my employer

Thanks - I tried to request a slot at FRT Terminal, but the train was not scheduled to go there. So if Middleton is nothing to do with it, I can only think it must go to shunt line first and then reverse to DS2 !

Any suggestions ?

Another minor bug (which has taken me a bit to pin down) - but some trains skip Armley Jct. Thus the TT doesn't step and the train calls up at the buffer stops or a red signal in Leeds thinking it is still at Armley. This seems to be when a train is routed on a different line to booked - mostly when routed via the A/B lines when booked on C/D (and thus it seems the train doesn't see the Whitehall Jct location - which may be prototypical?).
There's the right way, the wrong way and the railway.

And another minor one - 2C68 to Horsforth doesn't drop off the system at Horsforth; it simply stops and terminates which blocks the line. And it took me about an hour to notice as it's not displayed on the panel.

Thanks - fixed, will be released soon. Yes, Whitehall Junction isn't on the A/B lines strictly speaking but I've amended the sim so it registers passing.

When using the whole of platform 12 the overlap of the route from 3682 to 3652 doesn't drop out.
I think there may be a bug with ARS at platform 11 as a train booked for P11A/B is routed to A/B correctly but then gets routed onto C/D despite not being booked for that platform.

The issue with P12 is on mantis. I have also raised it for the same issue in P11.

Regards the trains terminating at horsforth this is becauss it isnt an exit location. Trains havs to run to harrogate. It will make current timetables awkward as there is a regular terminating service at horsforth.

I meant to say earlier that I fixed that too, no timetable changes required.

2H65 (1848 Skipton-Leeds) arrives into Leeds and becomes 2V10 (0735 Leeds-Ilkley) and immediately calls for TRTS - is that supposed to be an overnight berth? It's also exactly 2 minutes behind 2V60, 1933 Leeds-Ilkley so can't be a 24 hour timetable confusion issue.
There's the right way, the wrong way and the railway.

The same issue occurs if a train from Wakefield is diverted onto 'DH' line.

route it into DS1.
If I do that, it just sits there. What happens next? There's no suggestion that it uncouples to R/R, nor that its movements are over for the timetable.

Ah! The penny drops.

Thanks to all involved in the development of Leeds- I'd thought for a while that this would make for a very interesting sim.

I have created a platform lengths diagram to help me overcome the inevitable platforming challenges! I have added this to the Reference section on the wiki in case others would find it useful.

Couple of issues which I'll mention on here before Mantis in case they are intentional.

at Church Fenton, ARS routes trains from Milford, with line code LSL, onto the down Normanton. is this correct?

the new notes button is greyed out when in Server Mode if no notes are present, but if you Join as a Client it remains black and clickable even when no notes are present.

I'm also finding ARS is setting Certain routes out of leeds station 2 mins before booked departure as opposed to waiting for TRTS, whilst others wait for TRTS

Another thing but 2H65 booked into Leeds at 19:28 seems to form 2V10 which is booked to depart at 07:35? I believe it's meant to berth a Leeds.

EDIT - Signal 801 has failed so signal 799 is held at red but when a train comes to stop at it the TD still steps to 801 despite the train being stopped at the signal. This also causes it to overwrite the TD for signal 801 if there is already a train waiting.

If anyone wants any real life answers for this sim I work in York IECC, and will endeavour to answer any queries, and offer my help to any developers who are doing any of the other workstations within the IECC.

The relevant issue is the platform at Church Fenton. If it's "2" then there is no choice beyond so LSL is invalid (but ARS will route it anyway as there is no other choice). Are you sure you're not seeing LSL at Colton South Jn (where they *can* get to the LSL)?

I think this is for reversals with no next train working. There's a Mantis ticket somewhere for that.

Everybody else: I've read the issues and believe I've fixed the majority of them. Update to follow soon, though the timetable will be a little longer.

I've noticed that this is usually on the through line platforms and, I believe, it's only the class 1 services that get routed out but I'm not 100% sure on that last part.

route it into DS1.
I ran 4E84 from the reception, through the shunt line and onto the main line. When he stopped at the first signal I manually reversed him into DS2+, along with another train which arrived earlier whose number I can't remember.

Phil.
