4M69 Timetable Bug? 04/01/2016 at 19:20 #79572 | |

Have just been attempting a single-handed Derby operation - the grey hairs are starting to appear. I have a problem with 4M69, which is supposed to enter at Kingsbury Junction and finish at Burton West Yard. It says to route it onto the GL at Burton but when it reaches Clay Mills, it doesn't stop to reverse but continues towards Derby (obviously it won't easily get to the West Yard that way). Is there a location missing from the timetable to make it reverse or is it just a bug? Thanks Log in to reply |

You need to add another location to the timetable for 4M69. Open the timetable (F4) before the train reaches Clay Mills, find the train from the identity list, select it by double clicking it and then click the Tab titled 'Location List'. Click on Burton-On-Trent and then the button titled 'Add below' and then select 'Burton Wetmore JN' from the location drop down. Add a suitable arrival and departure time to fit with the rest of the timetable and then click OK. 4M69 should then stop at the correct side of the junction at signal 172 on the goods up ready to reverse and cross the main lines into the West Yard (east). For added realism, you can add a period to the dwell time (Hrs:mins:secs) which means it will sit there for at least this time while the train is prepared for reversing. Remember to do the same for any trains that enter with the same destination & also save the timetable when prompted on closing the session. Hope that helps. Log in to reply |
