When a train Y is prevented from entering by a rule relating to another train X arriving/departing/leaving the sim, and X is running late, there's often an odd "Y will be about nn minutes late" message generated just before the entry of Y. For example, in the attached screenshot, 0Q36 is prevented from entering until another train running 50 minutes late has arrived at Mossend. The sequence of events is then that 0Q36 phoned to ask permission to enter the sim, a "train delayed" message was displayed after the call is answered, with the train then entering almost immediately. Whilst it's not incorrect, it does seem a bit pointless, and it always catches me out as I read it as meaning that 0Q36 will enter 56 minutes after the message appears! Hopefully it'd somewhat easy to suppress the message in this case? Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Log in to reply |

The engine's timetable will need to be determined by "decisions" Barry Barry, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Log in to reply |

You've lost me. How would a decision help? (Unless there's some feature in decisions that suppresses delay messages)
