hi when chaining up with Wembley Mainline all the way up to rugby north trains are comeing in late but the timetable is right but trains are comeing late but losing time along the sims has got to do with the sims being link up or is there a issue with the sim also trains are getting other headcodes as wtt so the description are comeing in wrong.

1. Which timetables and their versions?
2. What versions of the simulations (don't say "latest")
3. Which trains are being delayed, and is that at the extremities of the chain, or do you mean while travelling through the sims?
4. If they're being delayed through the sim, where exactly?
5. Can you explain your last, um, set of words about descriptions/headcodes?

1. Newly created 2015 timetable for all sims created by Trainmad091 currently in testing
2. Wembley V1.1
Watford V1.1
Rugby South V1.3
Rugby Centre V1.3
Rugby North V1.1
3. Random trains get delayed whilst passing through sims (NO FAILURES) also a couple random trains enetering sim 3-4 hours late.
4. Trains losing their timetable and becoming another train. Headcode stays the same but on F2 it runs as example: '2B06' WTT '1A13' and runs to 1A13 timings instead. This happens when jumping from one sim to another.
5. Read above.

Without seeing this user timetable I would hazard a guess that the train types are not quite right. For example, the Pendolinos should run through most of the area at 125mph and for that they need the EPS speed class type ticked.

As for my #5 / your #4, again I would guess that somebody is interposing approaching trains incorrectly. The F2 list is the one to go by; headcodes don't just jump around or change themselves for fun.

Could he not just post here? Surely it'd be easier, as well as letting everyone else see if a bug is confirmed.

He can post here. I don't have the time to support individual timetable writers.

For loss of time- as Geoff said, when setting up train types 390s need 'EPS-E' ticked and 221s need 'EPS-D' ticked so they can run at higher speeds than non-tilting types.

Entry delays: Are you using rules, and if so, are they set up correctly? Additionally, are you using UIDs? I don't think it's permitted for two trains with the same UID to be in the area at the same time. If you've made a mistake entering UIDs, this could cause that problem.

Two trains with the same UID won't be allowed to enter the simulation at the same time.

Assuming the entry time of the second train with the identical UID has passed when the first has left the area the second will enter immediately.

Just to check, have you run the TT Analyser with 'Report duplicate UIDs' ticked?

Could you PM me a copy of the WTT's so I can have a look please? There's not a lot else we can do without some hard evidence to test and reproduce from.

It would probably be best if trainmad091 came on here and posed the questions directly to the forum, unfortunately all myself, Steamer and other forum users can do is provide suggestions on what the problem might be, and we have to rely on word of mouth between yourself and trainmad091 in getting an accurate answer back.

Without a copy of the WTT there is little myself, or anyone else can do to test if there is a real problem with the sim, as we don't have enough to go on in order to reproduce the fault.

I've known people chain Euston - New Street using the default timetables, and they haven't reported the issues that you are saying here, therefore I can only conclude that user error is a large part of the problem.

Having spoken to Trainmad091 by PM I've ascertained that the issues are not sim bugs, but timetable bugs.
