Hi Guys,

I'm currently in the process of making a Southampton 2015 Weekday timetable. I'm now in the final stages of testing and aimed to submit it by the end of next week, when its released I hope you all enjoy the timetable, Also report any issues on this post.

--Description--

This timetable is a standard weekday timetable based on the workings in early January in 2016. The the timetable is based on A Friday in January, however there has been freight and other trains added from different days. Timetable data taken from RealTime Trains, headcodes are taken from the Network Rail WTT.

--Timetable Notes.--
1. The Line between Eastleigh and Basingstoke is closed each night from 2100 -0400, The basic service amendments are that the Waterloo-Weymouth services will divert via Havant, the Waterloo-Poole will run from Poole-Eastleigh and Cross Country and Freight will divert via The Test Valley.

2. A known issues with this timetable is that trains coming out of Totton Yard have to run round, however the timetable doesn't accept any route for the engine to run round, players will have to abandon timetable and then reinstate it once the train arrives at Totton. Another known issues is that 5B92 Forms 1B92 At SAP, however 1B92 will not move, you will have to abandon its TT and reinstate it. Also service to Northam will have diesel ticked for the can enter the depot.

Hiya,

Looking forward to this one. Quick question, what's your source for Rolling Stock allocations for Passenger, particularly SWT?

Sorry guys, I am in the business of making people wait!

The SWT Website gave a basic overview of what stock is on each service, so its a mixture of that, actually going to Southampton itself and observing and a bit of guesswork lol

Hello this sounds a good time table the only thing I noticed is about the Freightliner 08 being a driver there the 2 08 that are at Southampton maritime are not aloud over to milbrook due to not having AWS and TPWS so are not mainline certified

WTT timing loads arent always bang on. That just means its booked to work at 15mph with a 350hp loco. It could in fact be worked by a 73,66 etc

To further clarify -

Timing Load just refers to the set of timings used to compile the timetable. A train matching that timetable should be able to keep time on those timings, but it doesn't stop FL putting a 66 or a 70 on those workings.

As an example: when GWR moved one of the 150/0s down to Exeter last summer for the Dawlish Airshow, they used the timing load for a Class 57 hauling 3 coaches limited to 75mph, as sprinter times don't exist on the B&H.

Trains 1B77 into (1B77 and 5B77) on PL4 at 0103 & 1B90 dividing (leaving 1B90 and 5B88) on PL1 at 0630 approx don't all fit onto their respective platforms.

Not sure if this is an error or actually happens!

Great timetable WSM so far, thank you!

I've just been playing this, and was a little surprised that the Jaguar car transporter managed to reappear from Eastleigh before it had left my screen! Then I realised there aren't any rules.

Is the rules file available? The download on this site only had a WTT file - I'm presuming there should be a WTR file to go with it that contains the rules?

And thanks for putting this together!
