I don't seem to have a Message screen when I open Royston. I therefore cannot see the running time and also trains entering and leaving, as well as signalling errors. I have uninstalled and reinstalled "Royston" to no improved effect. Any suggestions to a newby.

Royston is built on paged format, which is a bit different from the scrolly you might be used to. There should be a grey box to the bottom right which will display messages, also the MSG tab will give you a larger message screen (same information). Peter Thanks for the prompt reply. I have now found the message screen by rolling my mouse. I cannot see any grey box, are you suggesting windows mode? I am using Windows10. Log in to reply |

Peter I have now found the message screen by changing my VDU setting from 1440x900 to 1600x1200. Its across the very edge of the screen, bottom left hand edge. Thanks for your help. Mike Clegg Log in to reply |

" said:PeterScreenshots from Windows 10 (using Classic Shell and the W7 Start button). Note the difference between the modes selected from the Display tab on the F3 screen. 1. In Windowed mode. 2. Not Windowed. In the windowed view the grey box is partially hidden by the Taskbar. Post has attachments. Paged sims require 1024x768 pixels of screen resolution plus whatever border padding you have Windows 10 looks to have around 25px Clegg, you should ideally be running your screen at its native resolution however 1600x1200 is a strange one these days (most screens are 16:9 or 16:10 rather than 4:3) Log in to reply |
