Definitely was not internet issue, I was there and we were all watching it as it happened. It is replicable each time but only from that signal (213) as chris has shown below in the video

What would help the testing team is if people could actually give a description of what they've done, rather than just post a vague screenshot with no explanation other than some hyperbole. (Though I appreciate this wasn't you). The person was definitely having internet connectivity issues last night on another game when he reported a bug privately to me.

Anyway there's a slight bug that the route from S213 to S223 is available in the pre 2012 layout, when it should be barred from use. I will open a ticket on the issue tracker to have this resolved.

Mantis 15805 applies.

I understand what you meant in terms of testing for the team and have explained to tony that you want a step by step of what he did.
After the Session I have just run a new timetable with the same settings and can replicate from 213>223 and 213>225

From what I have tested and watching back the Video, I would agree that it is the same bug as you mentioned but it can jump down to p10(225) as well as p11(223) although I can only replicate it by clicking on the relevant signals, so whether tony did this without relizing I cant say or thats what happened when he clicked on 241, I cant say for sure but the only I can replicate is the relevant signals ie clicking the platforms sigs

Anyway sorry for any confusion caused

After wading through amateur dramatics and other posts am I right in concluding it can all be summarised in this sentence?

You can set routes from 213 to 223 or 225 in Pre-2012 mode when they should not be available.

Hi All,
I mentioned this before but have not seen anything referring to it so perhaps it wasn't picked up. If it was apologies.
LC 54. I was operating the sim when I received a request for crossing LC 54. I replaced signals 335, 337, 342, 344, and gave permission to the user to cross. A train approached the crossing on the Down Slow and when it occupied TC THG in rear of the crossing I got an irate call saying " Oi I thought you said it was safe"

Couldn't attempt to reproduce it since I didn't have any luck in getting a phone call from that particular level crossing, but I've logged an issue for it.
Two million people attempt to use Birmingham's magnificent rail network every year, with just over a million of them managing to get further than Smethwick.

I've written a summer 1991 timetable for this sim & whilst undertaking a bit of testing I've noticed the following issues & reported them on MANTIS. Sim set with Extra ARS on & 2011 era or earlier mode.
1. At 00.01 0001 EWD MGR Milford WS - Immingham Import Coal Terminal (FEDN TO Cl.56+36 empty MGR wagons) enters on the Down Milford & is bound for Joan Croft Jn. However instead of the route setting from 1835 to 1847 the route from 1833 to 1835 keeps setting. Resulting in havbing to work this manually.

2. This train then run OK till it gets to Hambleton South Jn. [SEED] 23+59 SX ECS York - Doncaster West Yard (DVT+9Mk.4 coaches+IECA BN Cl.91) is travelling on the Up Main, but once 5E18 has cleared Hambleton South Jn the droute from 954 to 946 doesn't set, but the route between 952 & 946 keeps on setting. Again requiring manual intervention to get 6D29 on the move again.

3. At present I can't timetable any of the mail/parcels or postal trains shunts to validate as there doesn't seem to be any valid paths between location York North Inner (reverse) 652 & P3. In P3. 1E22 [SEED] 2035 EWD Postal Edinburgh - London King's Cross (RXLC CD Cl.47/4+2NEA+NSX+NTX+NSX+3NEA) arrives at 00.04. The rear van is detached nuy the station pilot & that van then attaches to 3D66 0410 MX Mail York - Leeds PD (RXLB CD Cl.31/4+5BG/GUVs) which is booked to depart from P4 at 04.10. Yet for some reason it would appear that the station pilot [0T21] won't join onto the rear of 1E22 in P3. Now I'm not too sure whether this is due to the stopping position of the train. I know way back when writing Carlisle 1979-1980 timetable we had a similar issue with the pilot Joing onto the rear of 1M13 which resulted in having to shunt either train backlwards & forwards & after a couple of goes they joined.

Don't suppose anyone else has had any similar issues, this is directed to those who are writing timetables for York North & South.

Trains using the Up Slow to bypass York don't seem to have functional ARS for the route between Y246 -> Y214, in the 2012+ era. There is no reminder for a manual route. ARS Status shows as "Unknown", as in the screenshots linked (one for each ARS mode). This is trivial to reproduce using the included 2016 timetable (starting at midnight) and the Beginner scenario.

Extra ARS
IECC ARS

Trains continue normally, under ARS, when this route is set manually.

In the older era, these signals have both a normal and a warner route between them, and ARS appears to use the warner route in most cases (probably because most freight trains run embarrassingly early, so the long overlap is almost always reserved for some other train).

There are a few signals on the York sim that ARS does not control - perhaps Y246 is one of them?

Judging by the description it does sound more like an era-related bug, though.

Edit: And reported on the bugtracker (#16136).

Noted ARS incorrectly signals train from York DS to Harrogate line. ARS selects S253 instead of S251. Mantis 17621.

ARS trains on Up Slow will instead of routing Y246-Y214, instead clear Y770 and Y758 then claim to be "routed to end of path" despite 246 still being on. I noticed this when a freight due to cross to Normanton caused the Colton South to start flashing despite the area being devoid of trains!

Cancelling either 770 or 758 will cause freight passing N/S Sidings to go non-ARS.

Thanks
