Hi all! Hope your summer/winter’s going well! I’ve been thinking quite a bit about how FCC’s defensive driving rules cause chaos in the default timetables in both Victoria (overground) sims and was wondering if it was possible to compile a list of the defensive driving rules for the various TOCs/FOCs in the wiki (much like the Multiple Unit Characteristics list). I would, of course, just go ahead and do it myself if I had the information/knowledge myself. For those timetable writers who have included DDRs in their timetables: are they accurate/estimated or have they just been guessed? If there’s been more than just guesswork involved, I don’t mind going through the timetables we have already and consolidating the DDRs into a wiki list (at least the beginnings of one). The Southeastern ones are correct and most other TOC's with EMU's are similar.

Agreed, the passenger TOCs are pretty similar; the FOCs a little more restrictive (and even more so in Kent etc). A couple I've seen measured in yards rather than meters but were 91.44% the same. SimSig Boss Log in to reply The following user said thank you: Gwasanaethau |

What are defensive driving rules, if you don't mind me asking?
