Although I realise that single-player simulations are possibly not in huge demand could I express hope that: 1. Someone creates an Oxford sim at some point. This would, in its current form, chain to Marylebone and Swindon A+B simulations with the current link to Marylebone simulation being the boundary up toward Aynho Junction. However after December 2016, when the Oxford - Marylebone services are due to launch (date for the launch is currently set for 12th December) I understand that the two platforms used for these trains will be worked from Marylebone IECC. 2. At some point, the Marylebone sim will be updated to include the line between Oxford Parkway and Oxford? In regards the siognalling, the page at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chiltern_Railways#Evergreen_3 says of the Oxford - Bicester route that "all signalling on the route (including the new platforms at Oxford) is controlled by Marylebone Signalling Centre." Just a thought. Dave Log in to reply |

Or will continue to be controlled from Oxford. At one stage in the planning Oxford (Chiltern) platforms were indeed to be controlled from Marylebone via a mostly single line from Oxford North Jn, with a slotted connection to the main lines and Oxford PSB. Later iterations have it cut back to between Oxford Parkway / Water Eaton Parkway (yes, the name changed too!) and Oxford PSB controlling all of Oxford North Jn and all of the station (as well as its existing area).
