Hi! I am new here, I wanted to try out Simsig as I think it is a pretty interesting simulator. I was trying to download the system installer but the I got the"access denied" error when I pressed download. I also unable to access my private message folder which also got the same error. Any idea why? Thanks! Log in to reply |

Not 100% sure but it looks like you need to make a first post, which needs approval before you can access certain parts of the site - which seems wrong as it's never before been conditional on making a posting before download Sims etc. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Ah thanks - I also got a Server Error when I tried to create a new thread so I was surprised to see it actually appear!

I don't suppose whoever approved this can change my status on my original account to user so I can go ahead and purchase on my old account and keep all of my sim's in the same place/account on licence manager rather than having 2 separate sign in's?? Been trying to purchase Tyneside for a couple of days now without success on my original account. Cheers in advance if anybody can shed any light on this for me.

Hi Peter, Many thanks for the reply. I have no issue with buying via this new account which I set up to be able to post but I'm guessing with my limited understanding that this would mean having to sign in to licence manager using 2 different accounts for the new sim's and the old account for the old sim?? I also PM'd Geoff but with being fairly new around here wasn't sure I got the right guy! Cheers, Graham. Log in to reply |

Probably best not to purchase on different accounts, though we can probably resolve after the event. I appreciate it's not ideal but I'd like Geoff to look into this problem for the reasons mentioned. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! I found a pathway through the registering process which is presumably why some people succeeded and others did not. The server is going through the database as I speak fixing any missing roles so hopefully that should sort things for everybody. (Give it another hour - it's got a lot of users to check and fix) SimSig Boss Log in to reply |
