I am sorry to have report a possible bug with this version. In MOdern mode coal trains signalled from Avonmouth BHT South to BHT North seem to get stuck with the train list showing them moving at 0mph, rather than the 1mph in earlier versions. I have saved versions. Modern mode, tt=Greater Bristol Metro v2.4 Log in to reply |

Are you sure about this? Remember that trains cannot always keep an exact speed. Like with a SPAD+Examine command, the train will (on normal track of 15mph+ speed limit) show itself as travelling at between 14-16mph, constantly changing up and down.

I've got the same problem too. In the 'Summer Saturday 2008' TT 2 trains were loading at BHT (and 'travelling' at 0 mph), I had to delete the trains after 2½ hours, because nothing happened.

Yep, I think we all are experiencing this same problem. I have been trying to work out a work around for this until it's fixed but so far not proving that easy. I think it's safe to say that it is a bug with the non-track circuited parts so if you can work around it using either Loco Release or Line 3 then that is your temporary work around, but I don't think the train will fit clear the points from Line 2 to allow you to swing them for Line 3 so that is a problem. It might be possible to change the length of a train to do this however that would be cheating so strictly speaking isn't really suitable, plus I'm not sure if it would be possible to return the train back to it's original length afterwards. Of course an alternative might be to create a new train to enter from the same area, signal it to Line 3 and reassign new TT as the 'stuck train' and allow it to continue from there. I'm not sure if it'd be "proper" to send all trains via Line 3 to avoid the bug as I presume there is a specific reason that trains are booked via Line 1 or 2. The issue is with the Sim, not the Timetables.

Trains are booked for lines 1 and 2 as they are 66s with HTAs headed for didcot powerstation to deliver coal and so need to pick it up from the loading chutes situated only on these 2 tracks.
