Hey, This occurred to me the other day when I had a train delayed at a station for 20 minutes causing late running behind. And sorry if this has been suggested before. I know we have an option to go non stop through the next station, but was thinking about having some more official timetable options rather than workarounds... After all, this sim is just as much about service recovery/time management as it is about actual signalling. Was thinking along the lines of, Run fast to destination Run fast between X and X Run to X and start back working The scoring could be updated to include full cancel and part cancel trains. Anyway just a thought. Last edited: 06/11/2016 at 18:58 by GB Reason: edit Log in to reply |

Now that really does sound like a good idea, or even being able to terminate trans short of there destination if they are running late so you turn the train around at the nearest opportunity at a station that will allow it to use a crossover

Highlight the final destination and click on the Set Current/Next Location button. Train will run non-stop to final destination. 2) Run fast between X and X. When the train is at the first "X", do as in 1) above but highlight the second "X" as the Current/Next location. Train will then run non-stop from X1 to X2. 3) Run to X and start back working. When the train is at X, again go to F2 and select "Run to another timetable". Pick the TT for the back working, use the F2 screen again to "edit TT" and set X as the Current/Next Location. Only thing missing is the scoring penalties. “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Log in to reply |
