Running the default 2009 timetable, I've just routed 2W57 (formed of 1 x 323 according to it's timetable) into platform 5B as booked and as can be seen in the attached screen shot, the train then stops blocking the track circuit on the points at the Wolves end of the station. I understand this is due to the short nature of platform 5. Is this a booked move?

I do not know myself if this is the booked platform, but given that BNS does have the ability to extend platforms to the middle this may be taken in to consideration when platforming trains Log in to reply |

It is easier to diagnose if you can see the underlying data rather than just the up-front picture. “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Log in to reply The following user said thank you: Trainfan344 |

I understand this is due to the short nature of platform 5. Is this a booked move? The following trains that are booked into platform 5B (entering at the 5B end) are too long for that platform and need to have their timetable edited to use platform 5M (or 5) with 'Near End' set as the stopping position: 5W04, 1G08, 2W57 and 2W61. They will then stop with the rear of the train at the end of platform 5B. Simply signalling them further into platform 5 without editing their timetable will cause them to travel to the 5A end of platform 5 which might conflict with other trains that require to use platform 5A.
