Hi! I am from Portugal and I love this game. My father works at a small signalling station and sometimes I go with him to see this in real life. Since I can't touch the real computers I play it here. I love this game. I have two questions: what is the best line for a newbie? So far I only played with Brighton line (but I installed all the donation ones) but at rush hour it is a bit hard with so many trains. The other question is: can someone help me with the sounds? I'd like to add the sounds from user contributed to the game, but I don't know the things name. I don't know what sounds belongs to what function. Thank you and great work! Log in to reply |

Tick the 'play sound' box, then the '...' button. Navigate to the folder on your computer where you've saved the sound file, and select it. That sound will now play whenever the event occurs. If you're looking for something with fewer trains than Brighton, I'd perhaps suggest Southampton or Westbury. Alternatively you might like to try Llangollen (heritage railway) or Peterborough, which is a busier sim but assists with the use of ARS. You can switch ARS on/off to just operate the parts of the sim you're comfortable with. I'm not sure whether there are any official sounds, I think they're more for personal preference. You could try something like DING1 for 'train entering system', phone for 'General telephone message' and double+buzz for 'Train ready to start', but it's likely that everyone will have different preferences. Thank you! I have been reading that guide, I was searching for one but I couldn't find. Where it says Quote:Max failures This means that, in the options if I set 5 there will be only 5 in the whole game or only 5 at the same time? English is not my native language. Log in to reply |

The Sound files link in the Wiki page takes you to a Page not Found error.
