Welcome, James. I lived in Hull for a while, when they were building the Humber Bridge, centuries ago! Here are some tips that I wrote to SteadyEddie, Luke and Issac who are also new to SimSig. Download and install the system files (also know as the SimSig Loader). Also, download the King's Cross simulation. It is free and is the one used most often in online multi-player sessions. I am running one tomorrow, on Saturday, 25th Feb, so I expect to see you there! You can watch and join in the chat - it's a great way to learn SimSig. When you are ready, you can run an area, known as a panel. For a beginner, the Royston simulation is a good one to start with. Also, the one called Drain (which is a couple of platforms in Waterloo station). Both of those are also free to use. Those are the ones I used when I started out. I hope to see you on Saturday. If not, Good Luck. Log in to reply |
