A user mentioned that 3S61 would not reverse at Heath JN see post here, and after investigating I found that the TT is incorrect for it. the way the TT is current set it tries to reverse at Heath LL and return to Croyton After Croyton it should pass Heath JN and reverse at Heath JN HJ21. I have attached Screen shots of the original TT and then the adjustment made. It is in ALL 3 versions of the timetable I should just note also the original route does validate in the Timetable Post has attachments. Log in to view them. 2Q08 will not pass Taff's Well. Whether running late via Radyr P3 or on time via P2 (there's a platform conflict), the driver always calls from VR516 complaining about a wrong route. Log in to reply |

Stephen Fulcher in post 94425 said:Can you show us a screenshot of where he is and the timetable window please?Tested and confirmed. The train is timetabled to reverse north of Abercynon and head back to Ninian Park, however it won't accept the route to Pontypridd. It correctly rejects the route into Taffs Well P2. Just been on this sim and noticed 2H03 has an incorrect platform allocation at Ystrad Mynach, TT says P1, but there is no route that will take the train to P1, I belive it should be P2, its next working 5H03 may need a platform alteration as well to P2

In all the data I have for terminating services over the last 3 years this is the case. Down to signaller knowledge I feel on this one, you can see the move isnt correct so make the adjustment needed. Passed the age to be doing 'Spoon Feeding' !!! When running chained with the other Cardiff simulations, there seems to be a mismatch regarding the 4C9x/6C9x trains running between Cwmbargoed and Aberthaw Power Station. The Valleys timetable has the full complement of trains ranging from xC91 to xC96 in both directions, however the Queen Street and VoG timetables only know about 4C96, 6C91 and 6C96.
Two million people attempt to use Birmingham's magnificent rail network every year, with just over a million of them managing to get further than Smethwick. Last edited: 28/10/2017 at 16:05 by Jan Reason: None given Log in to reply |

I'm not over worried about descriptions being wrong. The early sim releases had to have descriptions manually edited in. Thanks to Geoff we now have things a lot easier. A few mistakes were forced to occur, When time allows there will be new versions of all the Welsh TTs Passed the age to be doing 'Spoon Feeding' !!! This issue is possibly present in all timetables and I don't know enough yet about the workings of the simulation to know if it can be remedied, and/or if it's a timetable or sim issue. Anyway, here goes: Put simply, when running the timetable with a moderate amount of delay, I managed to have two instances of the same train appear. 2C15 (entering at Queen Street and running to Coryton) was reported running 50 minutes late before entering. No problem. It duly entered and was routed to Coryton. Whilst it was still en-route, 2V17 entered at Ninian Park, running to Radyr, a few minutes late. Then I noticed that 2C15 was due to become that same 2V17 at Coryton - or in other words, the seeding of 2V17 at Ninian Park to Radyr does not appear to take into account any lateness from that same earlier train from Coryton to Queen Street where it briefly exits the sim. Hope that makes sense. Screenshot attached. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Log in to reply |
