Having just played the full Derby sim again, only at a harder level a considerable number of technical failures (points/track circuit) occurred in the station area as expected.

In this scenario is the re-platforming of trains to keep this moving counted against the player in the "Performance Analysis"?

It would seem unfair if it did, as part of the remit is tho keep the trains moving, wherever possible.

Counts against you if you run the TT as written. I don't suppose you'd get any brownie points in real life if you ran a train into an unexpected platform.

To avoid it you need to edit the train TT on the fly and put in the new platform before you signal the train into the station. Look at it like making a phone call to the station supervisor advising him/her of the re-platforming.

Thank you - I didn't realise I could edit on the fly.

I understand it counting against me if was my error.

Right-click on the TD when it is displayed on the panel then select "Edit timetable" from the context menu. That doesn't affect the copy of the TT held on your hard disk so doesn't affect any future runs you try.

Are you using a test version of the Loader with new, fancy features? I only get "Show timetable" doing the same, and I'm not aware of any method except the F2 screen to access "Edit timetable".

Oops! My bad. Find the train in the F2 list, right-click, select Timetable Options then Edit Timetable. My only excuse is that I've been busy with other things and haven't opened a sim for 3 months so the memory got befuddled.

I had to open up a save to check that I hadn't missed such a feature being added years ago - wouldn't be the first time!
