This is going to sound crazy but......I remember operating a sim many months ago that gave me hours of enjoyment. I think I was using an older timetable but recall to the right of the main station, there were numerous shunt activities going on, mostly light engines going to and from the main station to be re-fueled.

I have just gone through every sim I own / have and can't find it (I'm certain I would recognise the track layout again if I saw it), so either I am going crazy or the layout I recall may have been from one of the sims that allows different eras to be selected at start up.

I know it is very little to go one but any ideas appreciated.

Straight off the top of my head it sounds like one of the 77 or 85 timetables, could have been Peterborough, Cambridge or Kings Cross? Do you remember the station? Was it a terminus or through? How many lines in/out?

Carlisle 1980s also springs to mind.

Thanks for the prompt response. It was definitely a through station. It wasn't the 3 you mentioned. I will check out the link you posted and let you know if I find it:)

Many thanks! It was Carlisle in 80's mode (It slipped through the net when I checked every sim because as you know the layout is different unless you select 80s era)!

I'm not going mad after all....
