I've just uploaded my York summer 1991 timetable to the downloads section awaiting moderator approval as the outstanding item which prevented me from releasing this timetable has now been resolved so the timetable should work perfectly after the next York North/South sim updates have been released. This timetable is exetremly busy pretty much throughout the 24 hours. It covers a time when the Cl.158 sprinters had been introduced on the Newcastle - Liverpool Lime Street - Newcastle services, however due to there being some loco hauled services running vice Cl.158s on these services(Cl.47/4+5Mk.2 coaches) I've created a decision whereby you may get a 2 car Cl.158, 3 car Cl.158 or a loco hauled train vice.The Cross Country HST sets are either from Edinburgh Craigentinny, Plymouth Laira or St. Phillips Marsh, Bristol depots. I've gone through my extensive collection of Special Traffic Notices(STNs) & add a myriad of special services, steam specials, track machine movements, weed killing trains, a couple of steam loco movements & a railtour worked by 25912 'TAMWORTH CASTLE' which was the last running Cl.25 loco running on BR metals being based locally at Holbeck depot, Leeds. On the freight side there is a full 24 hour MGR programme covering Gascoigne Wood Colliery feeding the Aire Valley power stations & trains bound for Cottam & West Burton power stations. There are several Anglo Scottish MGR coal workings in the timetable worked by Cl.56 locos between Scotland & York Yard North where a loco change occurred & the trains worked south by Cl.58 locos from the East Midlands. Local Trip services taken from a variety of Trip Notices covering Tinsley, Healey Mills, Doncaster, Knottingley, Frodingham, Immingham, Thornaby & Tyne depots. I'd like to say thanks to the team of resters AndyG, KymriskaDraken, BarryM, tjfrancis, jc92 & Andrew G for there time & diligence in there testing of this timetable. So I'm hopeful no one will experience any issues with this timetable. If however you have any questions or come across any issues with this timetable then please raise them on this thread as I'm sure someone whose name I've mentioned above should be able to put you right.

On the train head code 7Z07 description, they is a typo Scarvorough it should be Scarborough I have told Pascal (58050) and he said that to edit that description Ourselves as he is busy doing another tt for Simulations.
I am dyslexic so please consider this when reading my posts

For anyone who has downloaded this timetable a couple of ediys are required which for some reason have slipped through the net. The 2 trains concerned are 2Z99 which enters at Church Fenton to York Yard South & 6L38 which also enters the sim on the Down Normanton & runs to York Yard South, both of these trains have the crew change tab ticked at location York Yard South Jn, but the passing time box is ticked. These trains don't have a crew change there so please untick the crew change box & re-save the timetable. The total number of warnings when you run the analyser should be 4. All of them referring to different train lengths of postal trains which have either detached vehicles or joined vehicles.

I'm currently running through this timetable by myself & to be honest it's a bit disgraceful on my part to report another issue which for whatever reason never existed when we did our last test run of this timetable. Somewhere along the line the tt data has been corrupted. The train involved is 6E60 0221 EWD SCN Gartcosh Russell - Doncaster Down Decoy (FEPE ED Cl.37/0+18 loaded HEA wagons)which enters Eaglescliffe at 10:52. The train is timetabled past Thirsk at 11/15, but the line codes should read SL SL, not SL FL. Please change FL to SL & re-save. Fingers crossed I won't find anymore. It's been a good 4 months since I last opened this timetable.

Noel I've been waiting for Geoff to clear the one issue that prevented me releasing this timetable earlier. It's been ready to go since Februarty this year. As that item wasresolved by Geoff last night it was time to get this one out. I'd be doing some more work on that sim if it wasn't the fact that I want to make sure there aren't any other typos or other tt data that's got corrupyed since then. Anyway I'm sure you'll enjooy it, but you'll be a brave person playing it single manned without ARS switched on.

Well good luck to you on that one. Yeah it's manageable during the early hours, but once you get to around 0700 it starts to get tough then. I'm up to 15.30ish & it's been non stop from 1300 onwards especially with the freights & associated crew changes. There are bits where you have 30 trains on the panel at the same time.

I think you are being unduly harsh on yourself there mate !! Your timetables are highly detailed [and always a joy to play] so it is almost inevitable that the odd error is going to slip through the net.

As I tend to play all sims without ARSe then an incorrect line code is a relatively minor issue for me. Speed is what gets me and I invariably have to slow the sim clock !! I much prefer this to just watching ARS route trains.

Look forward to playing this TT at some point. Keep up your good work.

It's not a simulation/core code bug. For example 1E46 arrives (157m), DCR:5E46 (35m), DEF:0E46 (19m), J:0E46 (19m). If you do the maths that means the next working should be 122m, however, Pascal has it in the sim as 123m. It's the same with the other 3, they are all 1 or 2m out. So the analyser is working correctly.

Annoyingly I've found another train which has been affected by the timetable data becoming corrupted. 6V67 2104 SX COY Tees NY - Cardiff Tidal TC (FMTY TE Cl.37/5x2+16 loaded[steel slabs] BDA bogie bolster wagon & runners) which enters at Eaglescliffe at 21:16. The train is booked past Longlands Jn at 21/50, but the path code is wrong & shows SL. This needs changing to ULS as ARS sets the wrong route & the train sit at 472 signal. We never had these issues Kev/Andy when we did the testing!

Whilst I'm at it herre's another one, this time involving 6D61 20:26 WThFO COY Leeds ORT - Lindsey Oil Ref. (FPCI IM Cl.47/0+14 discharged TEA bogie tank wagons)which enters the Down Hull at Micklefield at 21.23. You need to remove the line code at Hambleton South Jn (21/36) or else ARS sets the wrong route & this train sits at 954 signal. Don't forget you need to edit 21 trains in this case 6D61WTHFO31 & 6D61WTHFO47 as there is a decision which decides whether the train is worked by a single Cl.47/0 or a pair of Cl.31/1s.

Another line code error affecting 6M76 2108 FO COY Lackenby BSC - Etruria BSC (FMMY TE Cl.60+25 loaded[steel slabs] BDA bogie bolster wagons which enters Eaglescliffe at 21:38 again stands at Longlands Jn due to the path code being SL. This needs changing to ULS. If you run ning this timetable without ARS then you should get away with these problems, but with ARS on this train will sit at 472 signal like 6V67.

Another train affected by a path code that shouldn't be there. This time 7H01 2125 SX MGR Immingham Coal Import Terminal - Drax Power Station (FEDN TO Cl.56+36 loaded[ESI Coal] MGR wagons) which enters Down Main (Joan Croft Jn) at 2302. This train stops at 1852 signal Hambleton West Jn due to the path code showing UHU. This should be removed & left blank. In view of this I'm going to delete V9.0b off the downloads section & re-install V9.0c once I've finished the run through of this timetable which should be within the hour. I feel like saying that famous quote of old:- "BRITISH RAIL REGRETS"........

V9.0c has been re-sent for moderator approval which has all the issues raised on this thread fixed. I was running a FRIDAY during that run through to re-familiarise myself on the timetable. One thing to note in view of a chrter train running on a Friday is that it maybe necessary to send some trains into different platforms until the charter train has run round & departed the station again. This sort of thing maybe necessary on other days of the week as well & as a signaller you make that decision where the additional trains go to. The same goes for the MGR trains loading under the rapid loader at Selby New Mine aka Gascoigne Wood Colliery. If there is already a train loading in both bunkers you don't need to send the train into the bunker it is booked to go in. All the train should work OK whichever bunker you send the train into.

Couple of potential rules issues Pascal -

I've ended up with to 7Z05s (7Z05 out of YYS and 7Z05A from Sherburn Jn) - according to the description these are the same OTM.

There are a number of engineers trains out of York Yard South to a worksite on the Harrogate line - somehow these ended up entering in the wrong order, but a cursory glance at quail suggests the signalmen down that way won't be able to reorder the trains into the correct order for the worksite. Suggest a couple of A must not appear until X minutes after B entered.

Great fun playing so far though!

I'm now running a Yuesday & I've come across an issue at 04:38 involving 6L38 which is standing in Gascoigne Wood DGL. 6l38 Leeds Area possesion train SOW - York Yard South (FPCI IM Cl.47/3+assorted 2 axle & bogie Dept'l wagons+FPCI IM Cl.47/3) which enters the Down Hull(Micklefield) at 04:25. The train reverses in Gascoigne Wood DGL sp it can return to York Yard South. However whilst standing at 1838 signal ARS pulls off 1836 signal on the Up Hull. This is clearly wrong. Mantis 0017483 refers. Thanks for that Kev. Can't say I remembered that happening when we were testing this tt. For any users who come across this just cancel the route set from 1836 signal & signally the train out the loop manually. I'll take a look at the rules James when I get a minute. When I put these trains into the timetable I was working under the scenario that these trains would be working at various places on the Harrogate Circle, then returning to Neville Hill at Leeds where the locos would run round & return back via the Harrogate Circle possibly carrying out some more work on there return. Harrogate in the description tab doesn't mean that's where the trains are working just used that name as the line is known as the Harrogate Circle & used 'SOW' for Site of Work which technically could be anywhere on that line. Similarly possession trains heading off towards Hull through Selby. Those trains once the work has been carried would run to the sdgs at Dairycoates & run round etc etc. A bit of artistic licence there I'm afraid.

Anyone running this timetable could you please edit the train length of Cl.37/0+18 loaded HEA wagons. I've noticed the train length of 6E60 is 1182m which is incorrect. This train is actually 181m in length. Another typo on my part. 1182m would make it more like a US railroad freight train, don't think a Cl.37/0 on its own would be able to move a reain of that length on its own.
